One year ago today an apprentice rider by the name of Rosie Napravnik rode her first mount ever to the winners circle. Since then she has made 225 more trips to have a photo taken. She is the leading rider in Maryland, and has won over $4 million in purses. To celebrate the anniversary of her first mount, Sports Illustrated has posted a story about the 18 year old jockey. Keep up the good work Rosie!
