For anyone who cares.......Magna Entertainment has unveiled the logo for the 2008 Preakness Stakes. I personly would have liked to see a horse in the logo, or maybe some additional information added to the "133". Oh well, maybe the marketing budget for the Preakness was slashed along with the purses and races. Also, don;t forget....the Preakness is "A MAGNA ENTERTAINMENT EXPERIENCE"

Preakness 2008
For anyone who cares.......Magna Entertainment has unveiled the logo for the 2008 Preakness Stakes. Maybe they are trying to draw in the poker fans? Looks like an abstract playing card to me.
At least I'm clear on it being A Magna Entertainment Experience.
I like it, it beats the 2007 Derby logo. . . that really sucked.
Isn't that a horse?
There is a horse, it's just so stylized that you have to look closely - without the blinkers and ear sticking out of the background, I wouldn't be able to identify it as such, though.
And I think that jockey has a body, but I'm not totally sure...
you know, I like it too. and i agree with john, the 07 derby logo sucked cal-bred mule balls.
There is horse in the 2008 Preakness logo... it's just very abstract and slick - only a horse head, actually.
I'm just happy there's a black-eyed susan flower included!
