The Really Important Stuff

I made my first visit to Delaware Park on Sunday. I can't write much now, but it was a wonderful place to watch racing. The Paddock is beautiful and the Grandstand is clean and comfortable.

However, being a homer, I have to point out one thing.

The playground at Delaware Park...

is nothing compared to the Belmont Park playgound.

There. I said it. And those of you that have to consider the kids when trying to get out to the track will understand.

The monmouth park playground is old, but at least you can see horses from it, so i'd say they have them both beat

I've always thought the paddock at Delaware Park is the best looking I've seen. What a gorgeous track, too.

Love DP

Top three paddock for sure. And the Bid raced there.

You know how much I love Belmont...but the horsey jumpy castle at DP was pretty cool...

Patrick - You can see the races from the Delaware playground. Check out my new post for the view.

Anon and Ernie - Agreed! The whole paddock experience is a great experience there.

Teresa - You got me. I withheld the jumpy castle existence to make my point. It looked like tons of fun. And the pony rides too!
