Happy 16th Birthday Cigar
16 years ago today on a small farm in Bel Air, Maryland, the great Cigar was born. Take a moment to remember what a great race horse he was. In case you forgot, I have added a list of his accomplishments below.

If you have ever read Jerry Bailey's book, the chapter on Cigar is really pretty touching and every time Bailey is in town, he heads out to say hello to the big guy at the Horse Park...very cool when you think about how many great horses Bailey has ridden that Cigar holds such a special place....
