My friends at Magna Entertainment have spoken about making some improvements to Pimlico. Well, I would like to make a suggestion.....Happy Valley Race Course in Hong Kong. If you build it, they will come!
The problem is that the big improvement Pimlico needs is related to property value. Man that area of town is sketchy. Don't get me wrong, I don't think all tracks have to be in the best part of town... but it's rough around there.
They get like 50,000 a day out there for the races -- like the old days in the U.S. Yep, the Chinese love their horse racing. That picture does make it look nice. I asked my gambling buddy if we should make a trip to that place, while we split up the Buffalo strips at Hooters after a profitable day at Laurel. I wonder if they've got racing forms in English. If not, we could get slaughtered out there (although, the restaurants in Hong Kong are said to be the best in the world -- I've never heard anyone say that about the restaurants outside Pimlico, although, again, EJ's, a little drive down to Reisterstown Road, has some of the best crabs you could ever ask for!)

Baloo,
Thats a really nice looking track they have in Japan, but they are running the wrong way!
It's not Japan; it's Hong Kong!
