Today may be a huge day for horse racing. Big Brown can be the first horse in 30 years to win the Triple Crown. It is also a sad day for horse racing. Long time racing fan and founder of the "Maryland Million" day of racing has passed. The great Jim McKay has passed at his farm in Monkton, Maryland. Jim will be remembered for many things, his hosting of wide world of sports, his coverage of the 1972 Olympic Games. I will remember him for all the great things he did for horse racing in Maryland.
Thanks Jim!
