The stud fee for Big Brown was announced today by Three Chimneys to be $65,000. A reasonable fee, I guess, for a Derby/Preakness winner. But, as I said before, I'm not interested in breeding a mare to those feet for that kind of money. I'd rather breed two mares to Invasor at $28,000, one mare to Bustin Stones at $6,500 and have $2,500 left over to bet on these promising progeny.
What would you do with $65,000 of stallion dollars?

Join Hair Club and hire personal masseuse for two months. With remaining $62, lamb chops at Il Mulino.
Horse racing is fun but you can't do much with $65,000 to invest. I would spend it on whores, booze, and just bet the rest at the track
Invasor (28k), English Channel (25K) & No Biz (7.5k) or Hard Spun (40k), Teuflesburg (10k) & 2 to No Biz (7.5k).
One mare to Invasor ($28K), two to Divine Park ($17.5K), or Invasor plus one to Divine Park, one to No Biz' ($7.5K), and one to Scipion ($6K), leaving $6K for hay.
I'll add Cetewayo (2.5k) to my first group as well.
I'd probably bring my mares to Rollicking and John Alden...
Wait a minute, they're what?
I must have overslept -- John S.
