I wish Kevin and his staff all the luck in the world. I hope you rebuild the legacy of both Sagamore and Maryland racing.

Kevin Plank - Sagamore Farm
A little over a year ago I wrote about Under Armour founder Kevin Plank and his purchase of the famed Sagamore Farm. This post receives more hits than any other we have written. In this months copy of Maryland Life, Jason Tinney writes a great story about Kevin and the historic farm. I recommend reading the entire article to learn not just about Sagamore, but how Kevin Plank plans to rebuild the farm with the dedication and comittment he used to build Under Armour.
I wish Kevin and his staff all the luck in the world. I hope you rebuild the legacy of both Sagamore and Maryland racing.

I thought the article was great as well. After attending an event held by Mr. Plank at Sagamore Farm this past week, I wanted to know more about it. When I came across this post after reading the article, I thought it would be of interest. I'm glad it was!

As a neighbor and property that was apparently part of original Sagamore, there is no question about the tremendous results from Mr. Plank's work on rebuilding Sagamore. Restoration is total improvement and carefully and thoroughally being done. Such pleasure for the neighborhood. RW
Bailey Fricault says she is glad to see Sagamore Farm rebuilt, it holds a special interest to me as I own Friendly Native, who is a great grandson to Native Dancer. I love my horse so much. I am 8 years old and live in Steamboat Springs, CO. Friend lives on a parcel of land called The Island, a 5 acre patch he shares with Lucy, Callahan and Sweet Sue. I love to ride, and groom him. He is the best horse in the world.
